With twelve years of playing experience, and having been trained by some of the best NHL goalie coaches in North America, Ryan Fisher has a unique perspective on what works when training youth athletes. His love for the game and his passion for teaching brought him to where he is today.

 

Growing up in DeWinton Alberta, Ryan started playing hockey at the Novice level, and by his second year of Atom he was a full-time goaltender. A graduate of The Pursuit Of Excellence Hockey Program, Ryan understands the dedication that it takes to be an elite athlete. After stints in the KIJHL with the Sicamous Eagles and Princeton Posse, he found a spot in the HJHL with the High River Flyers and Cochrane Generals. While playing in his last year of junior eligibility in Ontario, Ryan decided to transition into teaching goalies full-time and retired from playing competitively.

 

Ryan has coached individually at the Canadian U-Sports level with the Acadia Axemen, and with the Valley Wildcats of the CJHL. Clients of Fisher Goaltending have played at the U15 & U18 Prep level, along with Junior A and Major Junior.
