Philosophy

Year-round goalie training in Calgary, Alberta, for goaltenders of all ages and skill levels.

No two goalies play the same way, so we don’t coach them the same way. At Fisher Goaltending, we get to know each goalie’s style, strengths and habits, then build their training around what will work best for them.

Real development comes from quality repetitions. Our sessions focus on purposeful drills done the right way, so good technique becomes second nature in games.

Led by owner Ryan Fisher, our coaches take a calm, positive approach that helps goalies build confidence and reach their potential.

Every option is built around the individual goalie, with a calm, positive approach that builds skill and confidence.

TEAM PRACTICE CONSULTING

Most teams don’t have a goalie coach at practice, so we come to you. A Fisher Goaltending coach works directly with your goaltenders during team practice, with single sessions and multi-practice packs available.

GAME ANALYSIS

We film your goalie’s game from behind the net, debrief right after, then break down the footage together over video chat. It’s one of the fastest ways to turn game experience into real improvement.

PRIVATE TRAINING

1 on 1 or semi-private sessions on rented ice, built around your goalie’s style. Private sessions with Ryan Fisher focus on game-like situations and modern training techniques. Semi-private sessions are available for groups of three or more goalies.

Ryan is an outstanding coach who brings both passion and expertise to every session. His ability to connect with kids creates an encouraging environment, making learning both fun and impactful.

With a wealth of knowledge, he not only teaches skills but also instills confidence, ensuring each goalie grows both on and off the ice. A truly inspiring mentor!
